ElevenLabs Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits, API & Agents

Compare ElevenLabs plans, shared credits, API and agent costs, and choose the right tier for your workload.

Quick answer: ElevenLabs pricing in 2026

ElevenLabs has a Free plan, then paid subscriptions from Starter at $6/month to Business at $990/month, with Enterprise pricing by quote. Paid plans bundle monthly credits shared across supported creative products. API and voice-agent usage have their own metering and can add costs, so match the billing model to what you are building.

Best fit: Starter for occasional creator use and commercial rights; Creator for regular voice work and professional voice cloning; Pro and above for heavier API usage, teams, or higher throughput. Start free and upgrade only after checking which product consumes your credits.

ElevenLabs pricing is not one simple allowance. A subscription gives a monthly credit pool for supported products, while API rates and conversational-agent minutes may be metered differently. Prices below are the public US-dollar monthly prices shown on the vendor pages on October 20, 2026. Taxes are extra, and offers or checkout prices can vary.

The pricing page also offers annual billing, billed upfront. It describes the annual rate as paying for 10 months: approximately $5/month equivalent for Starter, $18.33 for Creator, $82.50 for Pro, $249.17 for Scale, and $825 for Business. The Creator first-month promotion is not the standard recurring rate. Confirm the annual total and current promotion on the checkout screen.

How ElevenLabs credits work

Credits are shared across supported products, including text-to-speech, speech-to-text, music, sound effects, voice changer, and dubbing. The same balance can therefore be spent by different workflows. The number of credits consumed depends on the product, model, and whether you create in the interface or through an API. The pricing page gives indicative usage examples, but it is safer to check the in-product estimate for the exact model and task than to treat one credit rate as universal.

Paid self-serve plans can roll over up to two months of unused subscription credits while you stay on the same plan. Free credits do not roll over. Cancelling or downgrading ends paid-credit rollover at the end of the billing period. Pay-as-you-go balance is separate, prepaid, and has its own expiry and conversion rules; changing plans can change how its dollar balance converts into credits.

What each plan is really buying

Free is useful for evaluating voice quality and the interface, but it is not the right assumption for commercial publishing. Starter is the first tier that explicitly lists a commercial license and instant voice cloning. It is a modest step up if you make occasional voiceovers, sound effects, or localized content.

Creator raises the included pool and adds Professional Voice Cloning. The current pricing page shows a first-month promotion, so budget against the recurring $22 monthly price, not the promotional first month. Creator is a reasonable individual plan if you use voice generation regularly but do not need team seats or the higher API capacity of Pro.

Pro is $99/month and includes 600,000 credits, higher-quality API output options, and a larger allowance. Scale is the first listed business tier, at $299/month for three seats and 1.8 million credits. Business is $990/month for ten seats, six million credits, and additional concurrency and support features. If you need custom terms or far more seats, request an Enterprise quote rather than extrapolating from Business.

API and pay-as-you-go are separate cost questions

Developers should price the specific API model and workload, not assume that a consumer subscription is an unlimited API bundle. ElevenLabs lists API rates by product and model. For example, the current API page lists text-to-speech at $0.08 per 1,000 characters for v4 and $0.04 for v4 Turbo. It also lists separate rates for transcription, music, sound effects, voice processing, and dubbing. Some real-time speech models add LLM usage, so the model bill is not necessarily the full agent cost.

Pay As You Go lets eligible self-serve accounts prepay a balance, including Free accounts. Subscription credits are used first when both balances exist; PAYG balance is then drawn down. It can extend usage without moving to a larger monthly plan, but it does not unlock plan-level features or limits. Set a spend cap or leave auto-top-up off if you need predictable costs.

ElevenAgents pricing: minutes plus model costs

ElevenAgents uses call-minute allowances and concurrency limits, separate from the creative credit pool. The public plans include 15 minutes / 4 concurrent calls on Free, 75 / 6 on Starter, 275 / 10 on Creator, 1,238 / 20 on Pro, 3,738 / 30 on Scale, and 12,375 / 40 on Business. Additional hosted minutes cost $0.08 each; burst minutes cost $0.16 when enabled and calls exceed the concurrency limit. Text messages are $0.003 each. LLM usage adds cost based on the selected model and is shown in the platform; carrier providers such as Twilio or a SIP provider bill their own charges directly. ElevenLabs says it does not add a separate telephony fee.

This means a voice agent with long calls, many simultaneous conversations, or a costly LLM can exceed what the headline subscription suggests. Estimate monthly call minutes, peak concurrent calls, message volume, and model use separately before choosing a tier.

A quick way to estimate API and agent costs

For a standalone API rate-card illustration, 100,000 characters of v4 text-to-speech at $0.08 per 1,000 characters is about $8; v4 Turbo at $0.04 per 1,000 is about $4. Actual billing depends on the payment model and any included plan usage. For an agent workload, 500 hosted call minutes on Creator uses its 275 included minutes plus 225 additional minutes at $0.08, or $18 in overage. That is about $40 including the $22 monthly plan, before LLM use or any external carrier charges. Check expected peak concurrency as well as monthly minutes.

Which ElevenLabs plan should you choose?

Choose Free to test quality and workflow. Choose Starter if commercial licensing or instant voice cloning is the feature that makes the tool useful. Choose Creator for regular individual creation and professional voice cloning. Choose Pro if you need the larger credit pool or its API output features. Choose Scale or Business when you need multiple seats, collaboration, concurrency, and larger monthly capacity. Choose Enterprise only when you need negotiated scale or terms.

Before upgrading, run one representative job and note the exact credits or API spend. Repeat it at your expected monthly volume. That estimate is more useful than comparing plan names alone.

ElevenLabs compared with other AI subscriptions

ElevenLabs is a specialist voice and audio platform rather than a general-purpose chat subscription. Compare it with other tools based on the deliverable: voiceover production, dubbing, transcription, sound design, or a real-time agent.
