What changed
Doubao-Seedance-1.0-pro-fast is a faster, cheaper version of ByteDance's Seedance 1.0 Pro video generation model on Volcano Ark. The official Ark pricing table lists 4.20 yuan per million tokens for online inference, versus 15.00 yuan for Seedance 1.0 Pro, with video token usage calculated from duration, resolution and frame rate.
Access and availability
Available through the Volcano Ark (Volcengine) video generation API in the cn-beijing region using the model ID doubao-seedance-1.0-pro-fast (dated IDs such as doubao-seedance-1-0-pro-fast-251015 also appear in docs). An offline (flex) inference mode is billed at half the online price.
